Coupon Codes
Coupon Codes
Coupon Codes let Fulfillment Centers run vouchers that can be redeemed by customers visiting affiliate stores. Coupon codes can be configured to offer a percentage or fixed amount discount on the specified parts of an order. The discount may be set to apply (or not apply) to pre-decorated products, non-decorated products, blank products, and shipping. The application of a coupon code will affect the affiliates' sales commission; the cost of the code is taken out of what the Affiliate Store receives.
Prerequisites
• You must have administrator access to use this feature
To Configure Coupon Codes:
1. Log into your iBranDIDit.com Website.
2. Browse to Admin > Marketing.
Select Coupon Codes.
The main work area displays a list of configured coupon codes that may be edited or deleted.
Click the thumbnail to enlarge.
In the top bar is the option to create a New Coupon. If you run a lot of codes, they may be searched in the coupon code search box.
3. Click on the New Coupon button to add a new code or click Edit beside an existing coupon to make changes to it.
When adding a new code or editing an existing coupon code you have the following settings:
General
• Enabled toggles the code on and off.
• Coupon code is the alphanumeric code a customer must enter during checkout to use the code.
• Coupon name is the name of the code as shown in the main work area.
• Discount amount is the size of the discount, which may be expressed as a percentage or a fixed amount.
• Expiry date sets when the coupon code will no longer be valid.
• Minimum order value sets a minimum order value required for the use of the coupon code.
• Number of uses sets how many times the coupon code can be redeemed before becoming unavailable.
• Limit per User lets you set a limit on how many times a single customer can use the coupon. If the checkbox is unticked, the coupon will allow unlimited use. If the checkbox is ticked, a field will be available for you to enter a limit.
If the customer is logged in when the coupon is entered, they will be informed on the Cart verify page if they cannot use it due to the limit being reached.
If the customer is not logged in when the coupon is entered, they will be informed if the limit has been reached on the Address page of the checkout after they sign in. If this happens then they will be redirected back to the Cart verify page and the coupon will be removed.
